I’d always walked past Pizza Metro and never really thought about going in there until I noticed how busy it was one night. Anywhere that has a crowd always appeals to me because there must something
must be drawing these people in, right? Safe to say that listening to the crowd worked in my favour with this place.
The menu had so much choice on it that I really could not concentrate on anything. As soon as I thought I’d chosen something else would catch my eye and I was back to square one. Eventually I went for a pizza called Battersea Rise (we were there so it seemed
to make sense) - the 2 for 1 pizza sign outside definitely tipped me away from pasta. The pizzas came out and were huge! It could barely fit on the table with our drinks but always better to have too much than not enough! On a separate note the staff were
lovely and pack your leftovers into a little pizza box for you to take home so you can eat them the next day!
It’s really nice on a sunny evening because they have the big windows open and with a nice breeze coming in it makes you feel like you’re on holiday - until you see the red buses shoot down Battersea Rise that is, and it brings you crashing back to reality.
Pizza Metro has buy one get one free on pizzas on Monday and Tuesday every week when you eat in - bargain. Pizza Metro is also on Deliveroo if you can’t be bothered to leave the comfort of your sofa!
